Before using EmEx 3 you should get to know its main terms.
- Download queue
The download waiting list is a list of documents which should be processed by EmEx 3 while searching for necessary results.
- Parser
The parser is a scope of algorithms for searching necessary information in the document.
- Link/URL
The link is an element of the download waiting list. That is a pointer at the document, which should be downloaded by EmEx 3 and processed by the parser.
- Filter
The filter is a scope of conditions which results in some action. It's applied both to the search results and to the links.
- Thread
It's a process which is executed simultaneously. It can be a process of document downloading or handling. In terms of EmEx 3 threads are separate processes which do not depend on one another.
