Mauje.com Adds HTML Features to Bilingual E-Mail System

November 26, 2000

Mauje.com soon will begin providing its e-mail service as a fully hosted solution to third parties through alliances with regional Web development companies.

HTML e-mail capabilities have practical business purposes, but also are fun and interesting to use on a personal basis. The features allow users to include colored and specially formatted text within e-mail messages. Users can pick the color of specific letters, words, and paragraphs. Even the color of an e-mail's background can be chosen. Text can be bold, italicized and underlined. Sections can be left, center or right justified. Paragraph numbering is available, as is bullet pointing. Finally, HTML features make URLs into clickable links and allow graphics to be included in e-mail messages. Users have the option to turn these bilingual HTML editing features on and off at any time.

According to Mauje.com spokesman Ahmed Darwaza, "HTML editing is another of the innovative technologies that have been provided to the Arab World by Mauje.com. We soon plan to offer the same e-mail system on a fully hosted and low-cost basis to companies and other Web sites in the region."
