*DMA Circulation Council Inducts Block into Circulation Hall of Fame

The Direct Marketing Association Circulation Council has inducted Chip Block, vice chairman and co-founder of USAPubs, Inc. and publishing strategist for Ziff Davis Media, Inc., into its Circulation Hall of Fame.
Block will be honored today at The DMA Circulation Day at the Marriott Marquis, New York.
Block began his career more than 20 years ago at Time Inc. After four years, he rose to the position of executive vice president of Downe Publishing and later created Games magazine. Throughout his career, he also has lent his circulation expertise to Newsweek, US News and World Report, among other publications. Block also serves on the board of directors of USAPubs, Ziff Davis Media, Worldwide Media Service and the Magazine Publishers of America.
Eligible inductees for The DMA Hall of Fame, must:
- Have at least 15 years of circulation experience.
- Be active in circulation in the United States or Canada.
- Have made "significant contributions" to the industry through breakthrough creativity and/or professional achievement.
- Have contributed toward training and educating others in the field and/or community involvement.
Past inductees include Wendell Forbes, Henry Cowen, Robert Teufel, Robert Riordan, Jack Shurman, Richard Benson, Gordon Grossman, Kathleen O'Shaughnessey, E. Daniel Capell, John Klingel, Ruth Nelson, Ed Fones, and Brian Kurtz.
