Vodafone Selects Dialogue Communications' E-Mail Alerting Service

JAN 30, 2001, M2 Communications - Vodafone Corporate has signed up to Dialogue Communications' recently launched Envelos hosted mobile Internet messaging service.

Vodafone is using Envelos to provide an alerting service that notifies users of incoming e-mails on the screen of their mobile phones. The information is delivered to the mobile phone as an SMS text message and it will typically include the sender's details, a subject header and part or all of the message.

Users can choose to have the e-mails sent directly to a phone using a Vodaphone mobile-alert.com address or they can set up automatic forwarding to their mobile-alert address from their regular e-mail account.
