Cybuy Further Streamlines E-Mail Transactions with Embedded Order Form Technology

February 6, 2001

NEW YORK, Feb 6, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Cybuy, the leading provider of impulse selling solutions for digital media, today launched its HTML embedded order form in e-mail technology. This innovation further simplifies the purchasing process of commerce-enabled e-mail by combining the product offer and order form directly within an e-mail window. As a result, consumers can simply fill out the form and immediately consummate the transaction, within the initial offer. This solution is an enhancement to Cybuy's first-to-market commerce-enabled e-mail, which was introduced in June 2000.

"Our resellers and their customers sought embedded order form e-mail, believing it will be especially powerful for those companies marketing products and services online. Offering embedded order forms within an e-mail allows advertisers to capitalize on a consumer's enthusiasm for a product by essentially bringing the store to the consumer," said Dominic DiMascia, CEO of Cybuy. "Evidence from a recent Harris Interactive study reveals that online consumers are often dissuaded by the maze of clicks and pages that accompany many e-mail offers. Our embedded order form solution ensures a shorter buy process, thus providing marketers with a technology that will increase conversion."

Unique to Cybuy's embedded order form in e-mail solution is the fact that it's delivered entirely in HTML with no rich media requirements. With approximately 60% of e-mail recipients using HTML compatible e-mail clients, Cybuy reaches a much larger pool of consumers than some rich-media solutions. This is an important differentiator because a larger percentage of users can have the full transaction-enabled experience intended by the advertiser. In addition to widespread compatibility, Cybuy's embedded order form is customizable, offering marketers total creative flexibility in designing a commerce-enabled campaign ensuring synchronization with their other initiatives. Finally, Cybuy guarantees the security of all transactions by employing an encrypted SSL connection -- a measure standard to all Cybuy products.
