Girl Worker Sent Shock E-Mails
February 8, 2001
A computer consultant was bombarded with vile pornographic e-mails by her boss - then sacked when she asked him to stop, a tribunal heard.
High-flier Tao Ball, 26, claims she received explicit sexual images from her boss Marc Garcia within days of starting her oe25,000-a-year job.
They included pictures of group sex, lesbian sex and oral sex, it is claimed.
One humiliating image allegedly circulated among staff featured a picture of a woman with pierced genitals under the heading ''Tao's next piercing''.
The tribunal heard that managing director Garcia often quizzed female members of staff about their sex lives and asked for tips on satisfying women in bed.
But Garcia, boss of software firm Kelros, in Swindon, Wilts., was said to have launched a vicious vendetta against Tao when she complained to her seniors.
He continued sending the e-mails and spread rumours that she was a lesbian to other colleagues, it was claimed.
Busty Tao was eventually sacked when Garcia, 44, ordered her to sign a long-term contract with the firm and she refused.
Garcia has taken his company to an employment tribunal in Bristol claiming unfair dismissal and sexual discrimination.
Tao told the hearing: 'I couldn't believe it when I received the first e-mail.
'I was absolutely disgusted by how sick they were and I felt physically ill.'
The hearing continues.
