Qwest fixes e-mail problems in Boise
July 13, 2001
Several hundred Qwest Internet users experienced interruptions in their e-mail service Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as the company updated its equipment.
The interruptions only affected outgoing e-mail and did not affect Internet access, said Qwest spokesman Mike Reynolds. The disruptions were limited to the Boise area.
"It's all been fixed, and everything is operating as it should," Reynolds said. "We are very sorry it happened. We never like to experience any type of disruption in service, but sometimes technology does not cooperate."
