EStara Adds Voice Links to 24/7 E-Mails

24/7 Media, Reston, VA, has partnered with eStara Inc. to add links to its marketing e-mails allowing consumers to connect directly to a telephone agent, according to the companies.
E-mail recipients click a link embedded in the message to connect to a call center without using an extra phone line and without needing to dial a phone number. Users with a microphone and speakers on their computers can talk to phone agents over their Internet connections; otherwise, they can type in a phone number and have an agent call them.
The eStara technology will be made available to 24/7 Media's direct marketing clients.
